Located in the high desert area, the project completely transforms an existing gabled roof structure into a minimal desert home. Thicker wall assemblies create shaded areas that flank the building, providing a controlled environment between the interior and the exterior. The building carefully places minimally detailed archways, and tilework that emulate traditional desert homes in other parts of the world, creating a more eclectic feel both in the interior and the exterior.
