Located in a densely developed city block north of Tehran, where having natural light and privacy are a real challenge, the footprint of the building pulls back from its surroundings toward the south and the west to maximize natural light and create more privacy. The project borrows its dominant architectural elements from the historic fabric of the city and forms it into a minimal composition in order to create what we call “tehran renaissance” .

Located on a street where most of its mid-rise buildings try to stand out from eachother by introducing numerous materials, busy compositions and different architectural typologies, tehran condos chooses to celebrate simplicity in its composition and strategic use of materials like brick, stone and glass blocks.

An uninterupted brick cladded mass, jeweled with vertically ribbed basalt stone accents and glass blocks rests on a dark granite plinth at the street level exuding a timeless design.

Unit Floor Plan Design

Each level is designed to hold a single unit that spreads into two wings, private and non-privates wing. Bedrooms enjoy the southern exposure , while the living room, dining room, and kitchen catch the sunset.

ENTRANCE & LOBBY

The building plinth covered with Granite, continues into the lobby interior. The combination of interior lighting and local crafts like plasterwork and mirror work creates an elegant entrance for the building.

CUSTOM DESIGN: Custom entry doors complement the minimal edgy aesthetic of the building exterior.

Inspired by Modersst designs, each unit is fitted with built-in millwork that brings warmth and richness throughout the interior.

Shower in the master bathroom is covered with stone, creating a monolith feel in the interior.

THE COMMON UNDERGROUND

At two levels below ground the pool and spa looks into a sunken garden receving southern sun exposure..
